Australian Government Sponsored Home Insulation Rebate

There is a home insulation rebate for eligible homes that is offered by the Australian government. If your house does not have enough ceiling roofing installation, you may be eligible to receive it. This can help reduce the amount of energy that your home requires.

This rebate program has been in effect since July of 2009, and it has allowed home owners to get this done, often with no cost to them. There is enough money to cover 2.2 million homes, so you do need to take advantage of this while you can.

This program can help to reduce the cost of your energy bill up to 700 dollars every year. It gives you better insulation, which helps make the house more energy efficient, and can help keep your home more comfortable to you.

In order to find out if you qualify, you need to contact certified installers and have them give you a quote. Many of these will help you will out the paperwork, as well. Once you have them, the installer will start the installation process.

The rebate is for 1600 dollars, which for the average home is enough to cover with no out of pocket expense to you. If your home is large or requires additional services, you will be required to pay what the rebate amount does not cover yourself since you still get the discount for the rebate, as long as you qualify. Be aware if you took advantage of the high water rebate, you will not be able to take advantage of this one.

Because the government is paying for the home installation rebate, this can make renovating your home affordable, and for many free. You do need to hurry and accept this offer before the rebates have been used and you are unable to take part of this program.
