Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a unique disease in the sense that it the symptoms of chronic fatigue show up differently in each person. The folks at About.com give us this definition – “Chronic fatigue syndrome is an illness of unknown cause that’s characterized by persistent and debilitating fatigue, flu-like symptoms, joint and muscle pain, and cognitive dysfunction”.

According to EmpowHer there are ten symptoms of chronic fatigue that show up more often than others.

The top ten symptoms include; Cognition Problems, Unrefreshed Sleep, Muscle and Joint Pain, Vertigo, Post-Exertional Malaise (PEM), Increased Sensitivity to Sight and Sound, Sore Throat, Swollen or Tender Lymph Nodes, Gastrointestinal Problems, Parasthesia, Orthostatic Intolerance (OI).
